I will say one thing:

and it's this: I really feel sorry for Britney Spears.

I was never a fan of hers, don't get me wrong, but NOBODY deserves this. It's one thing to have a mental/emotional breakdown. It's another thing to have a highly-publicized mental/emotional breakdown with the whole world watching and documenting your every blink.

Poor girl.

I agree. I think the media treatment has been cruel. She might be 26, but she's probably functioning more like a 14 year old. It's really sad for her and for her children.

I wish people didn't have such a fascination with celebrity. I don't understand it. It's so shallow. And when it's not shallow, it's mean, as witnessed here.

Glad I'm not famous.

her story breaks my heart. i don't like the media coverage and i don't want someone with as much natural talent and ability to go down this path of emotional fucked-up-ness...the children...sad story there and why can't her ex, her friends and family help her in a productive manner. the whole thing is sick.
